Wheel of Fortune Contestant Search

Today Todd & I went to the Wheel of Forture Contestant Search at Grand Casino - Hinkley. We had to wait in line for about 45 minutes in order to get a wristband and an application. We had to fill out the application & then wait in another line for another 45 minutes until we could go into the room where they were conducting the search. They said the room held 2200 people. It wasn't totally full but there were definitely a lot of people there! They drew 5 names at a time & they played a speed up round. They were looking for several different qualities for contestants. Just because you got picked...........or solved the puzzle.............did not mean you would necessarily make it on the show. They played about 6 rounds. Neither Todd or I got picked, but they will pick a few more people at random to come to the finals at a later date. So there still is a small chance. :)

We did have a fun afternoon, though. :)
