Engagement Picture

This is one of our engagement pictures taken the summer of 2005. It was taken in the courtyard at North Heights Lutheran Church. It is very beautiful with the waterfall, ponds, trees & flowers! Just like a little oasis. This picture is a little out of order, but I wanted to use it for our profile, so I added it now. :)

Rehearsal Dinner

This is a picture from our rehearsal dinner. My Uncle Dan cooked the dinner and it was wonderful! He made us this practice cake (carrot cake w/o nuts & raisins) with a bride & groom made out of nut from "nuts & bolts" and also sprinkled them on the cake because I do not like nuts in or on desserts. :) Very, very creative, huh? We thought it was pretty funny. :)

P.S. The year is wrong on the date on the picture. It is actually 5/5/2006. We received a digital camera as a wedding gift (a little early) and we apparently did not check the date very well when we set it. :)

How We Began

We are Todd & Sonja Dybvik. We met while doing the Passion Play at North Heights Lutheran Church in Arden Hills, MN. We met in 2003 (when I was Sonja Lane) Our 1st date was 5/7/04, we got engaged on 5/7/05 and were married on 5/6/06. :) So that is how we began. We both agree that church is a good place to find the person God has for you to love. :)
