Making Cupcakes

Todd & I watched Brenden, Tyler & Maddie last Saturday at their house while Jeremy, Kim, J.D. & Justin went to the Minneosta Swarm game. Justin has been playing Box Lacrosse this spring & his team got to play a scrimmage during half-time of the Swarm game. He was so excited!

While we were watching the kids, we decided to make cupcakes.

First you have to put the cupcake papers in the pan.

Backyard BBQ at Mom's House

Anthony, Heather & Andrew came up to the cities for a visit, so we had a BBQ at Mom's house. We invited our cousins & some of Heather's family came, too. It was really nice weather & we had a great time. :)

Maddie's hair was standing on end from the static electricity every time she drove the Little Tikes car.

Clementina & me........my cousins were calling me the Baby Whisperer because apparently Clementina doesn't usually sit with strangers without crying. :)

Maddie wanted her ball in the car so I put it in her "trunk".............it fits so well. :)

The Thorn 2010

We just finished our Easter production, The Thorn, at church yesterday. Todd was a disciple again this year. I was in the choir, the Lame Boy's Mother and Peter Accuser #2. :)

We had Evan & Luke on Saturday & Sunday of the 1st weekend of performances. We got them costumes & put them in the 1st 3 songs of the show. I carried Luke out and Evan went out with Grandma A. They were so cute in their costumes. We had two performances on Saturday & then Sunday was Palm Sunday so we did the Market Scene & Hosanna scenes in the 1st service.

We also had Luke this past weekend, so we got to have him in the last 3 shows............two on Saturday & one on Sunday. It was so fun! :)

MindWare Day

MindWare had a good year in 2009 so we had a MindWare Day to celebrate.

I made a cake with our Brainy Guy symbol on top for the celebration. Everyone was impressed with how well it turned out.

The MindWare Staff............minus 2 people who were gone and 1 person who stared working for us the next week. We all got MindWare jackets as part of the celebration. :)

Evan's 7th Birthday Party

Evan turned 7 on January 13th, but Angela couldn't find a day that everyone could get together for a birthday party until March 21st. I guess we are all just a bit too busy. :)

A Night in Venice.......February 13, 2010

Todd & I went to Couples by Candlelight at North Heights again this year. The theme was A Night in Venice. We had wonderful Italian food, music by The Christian Tenors & got this picture of us with a Venice background. We had a wonderful time!

Surgery for Todd

Todd had surgery for a torn meniscus in his right knee on January 28th. Dr. Comfort said the surgery went very well. One funny thing is that Todd had a choice between Dr. Comfort & Dr. Panek............he chose Comfort. :)

Tyler wanted to help Uncle Todd feel better, so he gave Todd his "bee" blanket. :)

Happy Easter Everyone! I am slowly catching up on the blog.............we are up to Todd's birthday on January 22nd.

The next day, Brenden, Tyler & Maddie came to spend the night because J.D. & Justin had basketball tournaments again. Brenden had left Darthbear & Rudolph at our house the weekend before, so they had been at our house all weekend. We set them up in the window to be watching for Brenden to come. That is their van in the driveway and Darthbear & Rudolph were the 1st things that Brenden saw when they pulled in the driveway.

Brenden was very excited to see his friends! :)

Maddie, Tyler, Todd & Brenden all worked to put the racetrack together.

Luke also spent the night so that Eric & Angela could take Evan to the Monster Truck Rally. Tyler wanted to help feed Luke his bottle, so we let him feed him in the carseat.

Evan's 7th birthday was on January 13th, so we gave him his birthday present when they came to pick up Luke.
