Tyler "Holding" Luke.......

Friday night we watched Luke overnight and Brenden, Tyler & Maddie for a few hours. We took them to Culver's for dinner & while we were eating our ice cream, Brenden said, "This is a good uncle, aunt, niece & nephew moment." We thought that was pretty cool coming from our 7 year old nephew. :)

Tyler wanted to hold Luke so I told him he could if he sat on the floor. Here he is "holding" Luke. It worked for him & he was pretty excited about it. :)

Luke likes to show off his flexibility by sucking on his toes. I thought I'd better get some pictures to prove it to him when he is 13 & denies the fact that he ever sucked on his toes. :)

Castles & Dress-up.......... :)

Wednesday night, we watched our friends, Mark & Leah's twins, Jude & Estella for a few hours. Todd & I decided that it would be a good time to make a cardboard castle that I got at work.

First you have to color the castle panels...........

...........and color the panels some more.

Then you can put the castle together & play in it. :)

Estella & Jude having fun dressing up for playing in the castle.

Todd & Estella............the Strawberry Shortcake hat was the only one left, so Estella told Todd he could wear that one. :)

I think she said they were going to a wedding. :)

Luke Can Sit Up On His Own

Last weekend, we watched Evan & Luke overnight on Friday.

Luke is 6 1/2 months old & can sit up on his own now. :)

Luke..........what a cutie!

Todd came in the living room & saw Evan & Luke both laying on the floor playing. He thought it was cute so he took a picture.

Split Rock Lighthouse's 100th Anniversary...........Our 4th

Thursday, May 6th was our 4th wedding anniversary. We went up to the Grand Superior Lodge for a couple of days.

We saw a lot of ships go by on Lake Superior this year. Apparently it is a busy shipping season.

We decided to go to Split Rock Lighthouse because this year is the 100th anniversary of the lighthouse.

A beautiful view of Lake Superior.

We thought this sign was pretty funny. :)
A view from the other side of the lighthouse.

A closer looks reveals..............yes, it is a cave!

Another beautiful view of Lake Superior.

We thought this was a great advertisement for the 100th anniversary.

We went to Betty's Pies in Two Harbors for our anniverary dinner.
Mmmmmm.........Chili Cheese Fries!

Justin's Box Lacrosse Game

On Sunday, May 2nd, Todd & I went to Justin's box lacrosse game.............lacrosse played in a hockey rink. During one of the periods, Justin played goalie. I don't think he had enough pads on for protection from that hard little ball fired on the goal. He got hit in the thigh once & it hurt him pretty bad...............I almost started crying for him. :) They won, but I don't remember what the score was.

Wooddale Spring Choral Festival 2010

This was our choir's 3rd year of singing in the Wooddale Spring Choral Festival. We were one of 5 choirs. Each choir sang 3 songs themselves and as a mass choir we sang 5 songs..........each of the 5 directors chose one of the songs we sang & directed the 300 voice mass choir. There was also a full orchestra to play for the choirs. We had a great time last night!

The Mass Choir.

Our choir from North Heights.

The mass choir again directed by our director, Mark Williams.
