Carving our Jack-O-Lantern

Todd & I carved our Jack-o-lantern on Wednesday night. Last weekend, we bought our 29 lb. pumpkin at a farm in Ramsey, MN. We are going to bring it over to Mom's house tonight to light it up for the trick-or-treaters that come to her house since we are going there for dinner.

Who is this handsome man in front of our house? :)

Aamodt's Apple Orchard--Ocober 11, 2008

On Saturday, we went to Aamodt's Apple Orchard with our friends, The Thompsons. (minus Andra, who had to work, plus a son-in-law & a boyfriend). :) It was a beautiful day & we had a great time. Janelle is in Ecuador so Keith brought a picture of her in his back pocket so she could "enjoy the day" with us. Obviously not the same, but it was fun to include her in anyway we could. :)

The Christmas Window 2009.....practices have begun............

Todd & I are participating in The Christmas Window production at our church again this year. Todd is going to be one of the wisemen and is the understudy for Grandpa Henry. I will be the coffe shop owner & the understudy for Grandma Ida. We are also both in the choir again this year. Our big shock this year is that we auditioned for the 1800's Partner Dance & we made it! :) We were very surprised because neither of us has any dance experience. We had to learn the steps at the auditions & didn't think we had done very well, so we were sure we wouldn't make it. To our astonishment (& amusement) we were on the list of dancers the next Sunday! We were told that we were a joy to watch and looked like we were really having fun...............must have been because we were laughing at ourselves so much. :)

Mom is also in the choir this year & the Chorale that she is a part of will be singing one of the songs, too.

If you would like to see The Christmas Window (& see if Todd & I can really learn this dance), you can get tickets at http://www.nhlc.org/ . Click on Tickets/Events & look for The Christmas Window.

Hope to see you there! :)

Justin & Maddie

Tyler & Maddie's dedication was on Sunday so we attended their church & then went to their house for lunch. It was a really good service and a fun afternoon. :)

Jude & Estella Williams' 3rd Birthday Party

Todd & I were honored to be chosen by Jude & Estella, themselves, to attend their 3rd birthday party on Saturday. They are the twins of our friends, Mark & Leah Williams. There was a lot of excitement and we had a really fun time! :)

Nicholas & Evan's "Camp-In"

Evan spent the weekend at our house and Nicholas slept over on Friday night. We set up a tent in the playroom and they slept in the tent. They thought it was great! :)

Nicholas also lost his 2nd tooth in the morning, so he had a really nice gap to sport with Uncle Todd's crazy glasses. :)

Tyler Spends the Night at Uncle Todd & Aunt Nana's House

Tyler spent Monday night at our house while the rest of his family went to Rochester for Kim's Grandma's funeral. I took Monday afternoon off & then Todd took Tuesday off to spend time with him. With 3 big brothers & a baby sister, Tyler seemed to really relish his "alone time" Nana & Uncle Todd. :)

Todd is teaching Tyler early how to treat the ladies. :) They brought me flowers at work.............

At home, we read books.................

Emily is 7 Years Old!

Emily's 7th birthday was Wednesday, Sept. 24th. Todd met Jamie, TeeJay, Sophia & Emily at Dave & Buster's Wed. night. I had worship team practice at church until 8:30 pm so I met them there later & then we went to Boston's for dinner. Mmmmmmm..............very good food! :)

Happy Birthday X 4!! :)

We had a combined birthday party for Tiffany (18), Nicholas (7), Brenden (6) & Tyler (2) on Saturday, Sept. 20th. We met at Chuck E. Cheese for pizza, cake & games. Then we went to Leonard & Denise's house where the kids did a pinata (guitar shaped) and opened their presents.

Justin, Brenden, J.D., Tyler, Nicholas & Evan.

I took Tyler around to play games & ride rides. He had a blast & we actually got 206 tickets, so we did pretty good. :)
